Funeral Services Held Wednesday for Gladys M. Jahn

Funeral services for Gladys M. Jahn, 71, of Moville, were held Wednesday, July 20, 1994, at 10:00 a.m. at McCulloch Funeral Home in Moville. Interment was in Arlington Township Cemetery, Moville.

Casket bearers were Messrs. Stanley and Robert Kovarna, Art and Tom Flannery, Virgil Olson and Willard Cooper.

Mrs. Jahn was born February 27, 1923, in Plymouth County, Iowa, the daughter of George and Edna Kovarna. She graduated from Liberty Consolidated High School in 1942. She married Theodore James Jahn June 17, 1954. She had lived in Moville since 1954. She worked for Wincharger in Sioux City for a number of years and then operated the Quick Lunch Café in Moville for several years.

Mrs. Jahn died Sunday, July 17, 1994, at a Sioux City hospital of Shirt illness.

Survivors include her husband, Ted; a sister, Darlene Kellison of Lemon Grove, California; a step brother, Dick Kovarna of Merrill, Iowa; a stepson Jerry Jahn of Antioch, California; and a step mother, Helen Kovarna of Merrill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Blanche Oswald and Josephine Ericsson.
