On Oct. 23, 1954, Jeanette was united in marriage to Jack Krusen in Mapleton. The couple lived in Mapleton until 1971, when they moved to Moville, Iowa, where they resided until 1977. It was then that the family moved back to Mapleton. Jack passed away at the age of 47 on June 8, 1984.
Jeanette was a member of Rodney United Church of Christ in Rodney, Iowa. She volunteered her time as a leader for the Cub Scouts and Webelos. She loved every aspect of antiquing and had developed an impressive Coco-Cola collection over time. When time allowed, she found satisfaction in scrap booking with an emphasis on her family. Jeanette was well known as the kind smiling face that would greet you at Casey's door but never stopped working at the project she currently has at hand. She was a friend to many.
