ONAWA, Iowa - Mary F. Daniels, 79, of Onawa died Wednesday, May 13, 1998, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pearson Funeral Chapel in Onawa, with Pastor Donald R. Ludwick officiating. Burial will be in Little Sioux Township Cemetery at Smithland, Iowa. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa.

Mrs. Daniels was born Dec. 22, 1918, in Mapleton, Iowa, the daughter of John and Pearl (Moad) Graybill.

She married Charles Daniels on June 14, 1936, in Ida Grove, Iowa. The couple lived in the Hornick, Iowa and Smithland areas before moving to Onawa in 1975. He died July 27, 1991, in Onawa. She moved to Sioux City in February 1998.

She was a member of First Christian Church of Onawa and enjoyed crocheting, reading and collecting dolls.

Survivors include four sons and their wives, Don and Marilyn of Sioux City, Jerry and Shirley of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Dean and Dorothy of Ponca, Neb. and Michael and Stephanie "Bunny" of Camarillo, Calif.; a daughter and her husband, Barbara and Larry McCubbin of Helotes, Texas; 18 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Betty; her parents; and two brothers, Ralph and John Graybill.
