Oto, Iowa—Gladys Caroline Riddle, 93, of Overland Park, Kansas, formerly of Oto, died Thursday May 7, 1998 at Overland Park Manor in Overland Park.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Smithland Cemetery in Smithland, Iowa. Visitation will be 3 to 4 p.m. today at McGilley-Hoge Funeral Home in Overland Park.

Mrs. Riddle was born Feb. 15, 1905 near Oto, the daughter of Edward and Mary Miller. In 1927, she graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City. She taught school until she married Walter O Riddle in 1928. They lived in Chicago, Champaign, Ill, and Des Moines, Iowa before moving to Mission, Kansas in 1949.

Survivors include three daughters, Constance Riddle of Hilo, Hawaii, Christine and her husband, Roger Larson of Prairie Village, Kansas and Mary Ellen Riddle of Overland Park, a son, Lawrence and his wife, Sue, of Republic, Mo.; four grandchildren, Susan, Stewart, David Riddle and Julie and Kara Larson; three great-grandsons; a sister-in-law, Faye Henderson of Jackson, Mich.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
