Smithland, Iowa—Shane R. Bueoy, 24, of Sioux City, formerly of the Smithland-Rodney area, died Saturday the result of a motor-cycle accident near Sioux City.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Armstrong Funeral Home in Mapleton, Iowa, with the Rev. Karen Handke officiating. Burial will be in Little Sioux Township Cemetery at Smithland. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Bueoy was born October 7, 1972, in Sioux City, the son of John Robert and Linda (Routon) Bueoy. He was raised in the Smithland-Rodney area. He moved to Sioux City one year ago. He was employed at IPB in Dakota City.

Survivors include his parents; a brother, John Martin of Sioux City; paternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Bueoy of Onawa, Iowa; maternal grandmother, Helen Routon of Sheridan, Iowa; and several aunts and uncles.
