Mondamin, Iowa—Charleen Anne Nagel Rife, 66, of Mondamin died Wednesday, Ocotber 16, 1996 at her home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church in Mondamin with the Rev. Thomas Connors officiating. Burial will be in Little Sioux Township Cemetery at Smithland. Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at the Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa.

Mrs. Rife was born July 20, 1928, in Sioux City, the daughter of Paul and Sadie (Millera0 Nagel. She attended school at Grant Center and Smithland and graduated from East High School in Sioux City. She received an associate computer degree from Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City.

She married Harold C. Rife September 1, 1948 in Sioux City. She was a computer specialist for AB Dick in Omaha, Gardner Implement at Missouri Valley and Mature Resources in Omaha. Mr. Rife died April 15, 1900 in Omaha.

Mrs. Rife was a member of United Methodist Church in Mondamin where she had been a Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star at Modale and had been a Girl Scout leader.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Shreeve of Mondamin; two brothers and their wives, Paul and Marlys and Alan and Judith, all of Sioux City; a granddaughter, Karley and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tonya Kay Shreeve and a niece, Tami.
