Moville, Iowa—M.G. “Trix” Robeson, 84, of Moville died Tuesday, July 29, 1997, at the Indian Hills Care Center in Sioux City.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church in Kingsley, Iowa, with the Rev. John Crosswhite officiating. Burial will be in Kingsley Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. conducted by the Kingsley Cosmos Lodge 470 A.F. & A.M. at the Earnest-Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley.

Mr. Robeson was born October 1, 1912, in Washta, Iowa, the son of Ralph and Stella (Anderson) Robeson. He was raised in the Grand Meadow, Iowa area and attended Grand Meadow School.

He married Eileen Turkington on September 23, 1936, in Sioux City. The couple farmed in the Grand Meadow, Kingsley, Marcus and Pierson, Iowa areas. He then operated the Case Implement Dealership and the roller skating rink in Kingsley. In 1951, he began farming in near Moville, retiring in 1975. They wintered in Arizona and Texas. He entered the Indian Hills Care Center in February 1996.

He was a member of the Kingsley Cosmos Lodge 470 A.F. & A.M. the Sioux City Consistory, the Abu Bekr Shrine and the Methodist Church..
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Pat and his wife Lynnette of Moville and Gary of Sioux Center, Iowa, three granddaughters, Kelly Salker, Heidi and Brandee Robeson; three brothers and their wives, Bryon and Winifred, Keith and Jan all of Oregon and Boyd and Marge of Wichita, Kan; two sisters, Lola Buss of Phoenix, Ariz. and Lavonne and her husband Howard Sadler of Cherokee, Iowa; and a sister-in-law, Leona Robeson.

He was preceded in death buy a brother, Harold.
