Glen E. Morgan, 79, 4101 Gordon Drive, died Sunday, January 9, 1994 at a Sioux City Hospital after a long illness.

Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Friday at the McCulloch Funeral Home in Moville, Iowa, with the Rev. Orrin T Potter of Moville United Methodist Church officiating. The body was cremated and the ashes will be buried in the family plot in Arlington Township cemetery in Moville. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Morgan was born Feb. 24, 1914, in Moville, the son of Cephas and Mabel Stuart Morgan. He graduated from Moville High School in 1931. He married Rachael Robinson November 13, 1933, in Cherokee. They lived near Sergeant Bluff and in 1979 moved to Sheldon, Iowa to manage the Autumn Park Apartments. He retired in 1983 and returned to the Sioux City area. He was a carpenter in the Sioux City, Moville and Lawton areas for 35 years.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter and her husband, Deloris and Ben Holtgrewe of Sioux City; a brother, Andy Morgan of Moville; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Vonnas Olson and Donna Kluge; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
