Albert Kulvik, 85, Sioux City, a retired Elk Point, S.D. farmer, died Monday, December 22,(1973) at a Sioux City nursing home.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran church at Elk Point. The Rev. Arthur Erickson officiated with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Kulvik was born July 10, 1889, in Oslo, Norway. He moved with his parents to Selbu, Norway in 1895. He immigrated to the United States in 1907 and settled on a farm near Elk Point where he lived until retiring to Sioux City in 1951. He married Rosabell Lewis in 1915. She died in 1929. He married Eva Kissinger in 1940. Mr. Kulvik was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church at Elk Point.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Hubert of Viking, Minn., and Ronald of Elk Point; three daughters, Mrs. Reuben Hovland of Milesville, S.D., Mrs. A. E. Egly of West Des Moines, Iowa and Mrs. Vernon Kjose of Akron; a stepson, Ray Kissinger of Sioux City; two step-daughters, Mrs. Viva Christensen and Mrs. Wilma Mackey, both in California; a brother, Axel of Seattle, Wash.; three brothers and a sister in Norway and a sister in New York. 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
