RY, Iowa -- Ann F. Fitzpatrick, 89, of Danbury died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, at Maple Heights Nursing Home in Mapleton, Iowa.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oto, Iowa, with Monsignor Mark Duchaine officiating. Burial will be in Danbury Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today, with a rosary at 7 p.m., at the church. Visitation will resume 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Armstrong Funeral Home of Danbury and Mapleton.

Anna Frances Fitzpatrick was born March 14, 1913, in Danbury, the daughter of William and Mary (Maas) Weber. She grew up in the Danbury area and became a lifelong member of the Danbury community. After graduating from high school, she worked at the Danbury Post Office.

On Nov. 11, 1940, she was united in marriage to Donald Daniel Fitzpatrick in Danbury. In 1945, the couple purchased the Farmer's Store and Locker Plant in Danbury, which they operated for many years. Don died Dec. 28, 1995. She entered Maple Heights Nursing Home in Mapleton on Oct. 7, 2001.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oto.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents.
