SIOUX CITY -- Ramona S. Tuttle, 86, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010, at a local nursing home.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Indian Mission, with the Rev. Anne Scissons officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will continue until Tuesday morning at Four Directions Indian Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Ramona was born Nov. 11, 1924, in Bloomfield, Neb., the daughter of Alfred and Victoria (Wolfe) Abraham. She took courses to acquire her Episcopalian Ministry certificate and traveled to Guatemala for mission trips.

Ramona was a member of St. Paul's Indian Mission and was active in many churches. She loved to sew. Ramona was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her son, Leslie Tuttle of Omaha, Neb.; two daughters, Louisa Frazier Casarez (Kenneth Frazier) of Sioux City, and Holly Rosenberger (John Rosenberger) of Falls City, Neb.; two sisters, Catherine Winters of South Sioux City, and Toni Henshaw of Sioux City; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lita Marie Tuttle; a son, Lorenzo Tuttle Jr.; two brothers, Alfred and Walter Abraham; and one sister, JoAnn Pepple.
