RALPH C. MITCHELL

Ralph C. Mitchell, 76, 518 Court St., died Friday at a Sioux City hospital following a long illness.

Mr. Mitchell was born in Sioux City on Feb. 12, 1892, and lived most of his life in Leeds. He was a cement finisher and operated his own business. He married Inez Swanson and she died about 40 years ago in Sioux City.

Survivors include a son, Howard of Austin, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Richie of Portland, Ore.; five sisters, Mrs. Gussie Deuschle and Mrs. Marie Gilmore, both of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Lorence (Gladys) Deuschle of Bison, S.D., Mrs. Burl (Esther) Swanson, both of Sioux City; and three grandchildren.

The body was taken to the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside.
