James Dean Mook, the 6th child of Roy Mook and Frances Frangenberg was born October 13, 1938 in Sioux City, Iowa. He attended St Joseph’s Catholic School in Salix, Iowa, and graduated from the Salix Consolidated High School. He worked for a number of years for the Sioux City Foundry and then opened his own automotive repair and welding shop in Salix. He is also employed in Sioux City as an Auto Inspector.

James Dean Mook married Nadine Ann Olson on June 16, 1962 at St Joseph’s Church at Salix. She is the daughter of Carl Harold Olson and Nannie Octabia Swedeberg. Nadine graduated from Hinton, Iowa High School in 1958 and now works part time at a restaurant in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa. James and Nadine are the parents of three children: Thomas James, Timothy Dean and Terrie Lee. The family has always enjoyed fishing and has spent many enjoyable family outings together.

Thomas James Mook was the first child born to James and Nadine Mook on September 16, 1963, in Sioux City. He attended St Joseph’s Catholic School at Salix and graduated from Westwood Community School at Sloan, Iowa. He also attended Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City. He has been employed at a plastic manufacturing company. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and other sports.

Timothy Dean Mook is the 2nd child born to James Mook and Nadine Olson on April 27, 1965, in Sioux City. He attended elementary school at Hornck, Iowa, and is now a student at East High School in Sioux City.

Terrie Lee Mook is the 3rd child born to James and Nadine Mook on August 13, 1968, at Sioux City, Iowa. She attended St Joseph’s Catholic Grade School at Salix, and is presently a high school student at Westwood Community School at Sloan, Iowa.

The James Mook family now resides at Salix, Iowa.
