William Diedrick Schumann, born 7 May 1892, married Clara Eichorn, born August 1896. They had ten children: Delva, Marvin, Merle, Johnny, and Ronald.

Clara, 1898-1944, and William, 1892-1971, and son, Johnny, 1935-1960, are buried in the 8-cemetery at Climbing Hill, Iowa. Wilfred, 1919-1950, died as a result of a car accident and is buried in Smithland, Iowa. One child born after he died.

Delva Sterret had two children;

Marvin had two children;

Orville had four children;

Wilford had one child;

Irma (Paul) Redenius had five children;

Violette (Nafe) Betts had two children;

Gladys (Gilbert) Baker had three children;

Merle had five children;

Johnny had no children; and

Ronald had five children.
