Guy C and Martha (McCune) Scott

Guy C Scott and his wife, Martha McCune Scott farmed near Moville and Lawton, Iowa, form the time of their marriage, July 25, 1917, until late 1981. Their family includes Ethlyn, Mrs Glen Kolbe, of Lake View, Iowa; Clair C Scott and his wife, Carolyn, of Eloy, Arizona; and Ruth, Mrs. Harold Fowler, of Smithland, Iowa. One granddaughter, Linda Fowler Jensen, her husband, Ron Jensen and their daughter, Shawn Jensen, reside in South Sioux City, Nebraska.

The Scott’s farm, located in Banner township, was known for years as the Bappe farm. They purchased the farm form the Van Eaton family of Sioux City, Iowa, in the early 1940s. It was sold to Jim and George Willer of Lawton, in 1983.
