Paul Benedict McCarthy and Norma A (Rolfes) McCarthy have six children: Kerry Kathleen, born April 6, 1976; Marcia Marie, born June 24, 1971; Kevin Terrance, born January 18, 1970; Kelly Michael, born August 25, 1968; Patrick Timothy, born August 7, 1967; and Brian Kevin, born March 16, 1966. All the children were born in Sioux City, Iowa.

Paul Benedict McCarthy, 1601 West 26th Street, Sioux City, Iowa, 51103, was born July 27, 1938, in Sioux City, Iowa. He attended Heelan High School and is employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone. Norma (Rolfes) McCarthy was born in Remsen, Iowa. She is a graduate of St Joseph Mercy School of Nursing.

Norman Rolfes’ parents were Frank and Seraphine Rolfes. Frank C Rolfes was born January 10, 1898, at LeMars, Iowa, and died November 12, 1983.

Paul McCarthy’s parents were Thomas and Colette McCarthy. Thomas Zeno McCarthy was born in December of 1903 in Iowa. He died in 1972. Colette (Fitzpatrick) was born September 6, 1901, and died in November of 1983.

Thomas McCarthy’s parents were Thomas W and Maud McCarthy. Thomas W McCarthy was born in 1868 in Iowa. He was a farmer, Maud (Patten) McCarthy was born in 1866 in Illinois. Their other children were: Ethel, 1892; Hazel, 1894; Bernice, 1896; Helen, 1899; Frank, 1906; and Rita, 1910.

Thomas W McCarthy’s parents were Dennis McCarthy, born in County Cork, Ireland, and Bridget (Foley) McCarthy, born in County Cork, Ireland. They were married in Massachusetts.

Maud McCarthy’s parents were James Patten, born in County Cork, Ireland, and Bridget (McCormick) Patten, born in County Cork, Ireland. They were married in Illinois.
