Edward and Nettie Ferry

Edward H Ferry and Nettie Irene Millen were united in marriage in 1897 and lived in the Cushing Community most of their lives. Two children were born to this union: Neva Irene Ferry DuBois and Russell Lowell Ferry.

Mr Ferry engaged in farming for several years. He also had several car dealerships and was a real estate broker. He plotted tow additions to the town and served as its mayor. He was also a Shriner and a Mason.

Nettie Millen Ferry was a member of the Cushing M.E. Church, a school board director, a member of the Royal Neighbors, and of Stella Chapter of the Eastern Star. They were buried in the Cushing Cemetery.
