Husbands name, wedding date, around mid 1800s

RUDE, RUD, NESSET, NESET, NASET

My aunt is looking for her grandfather's first name, and the date of wedding. Her grandmother's name was Randi/Rundi Nesset Rude. Evidently her husband passed away when the children were young, as none of them were aware of their father's name, or at least were not talking about him. My aunt and her siblings and cousins have all been looking and find no trace of him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
