My husbands grandparents are buried in Washington Prairie cemetery, Winneshiek county. But there are many Boes buried in Springfield cemetery. Both churches can be seen from our place. These cemeteries are south and southeast of Decorah. I show Ola Erikson (Anders father) as being married twice. His other wife as Velgier Eividsdatter. Ola Erikson's father as Erik Knutson (1770-1799) married to Maren Olsdatter (circa 1765-?). Erik Knutson's father as Knut Hakonson (1721-1805) married to Siri Havordsdatter (circa 1721-?). Knut Hakonson's father as Hakon Knutson (circa 1680-?) married to Margrete Eriksdatter (circa 1680-?). Margrete Eriksdatter's father as Erik Thueson (1649-?). Erik Thueson's father as Thue Auheson (circa 1623-?). That's as far back as my information goes.
