W. W. Hubbell received news Saturday that his mother Mrs. Levi Hubbell was very ill with no hopes of her recovery at the home of her sister in California. Mrs. Hubbell has many friends here who regret to hear of her illness and hope there may be a change for the better. Later—Her death was announced in a telegram that was received on Sunday.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Jane “Jennie” who was born in 1843 and died Mar. 26, 1915 which is obviously an error since this publication is dated March 4, 1915. She is buried in Oakland Cemetery in Waukon, IA.
