Jetty Larson, age 92, of Decorah, IA, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Ossian Senior Center, funeral service will still be held Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Decorah United Church of Christ 209 W. Broadway St. Decorah, IA 52101.
There will be no visitation prior to the service.
Burial will be at the Frankville cemetery at a later date.
The family is asking for no flowers. Donations can be sent to Decorah United Church of Christ, the VFW Auxiliary, and the Ossian Senior Care activities.
Jetty Mae Larson was born October 9, 1932, in Waukon, Iowa to Evelyn and Edwin Erickson.
Jetty was married on January 4, 1951, to Russell H. Larson. They had three children together: Judyth, Debra, and Gary.
Jetty was a member of the Decorah United Church of Christ and the VFW Auxiliary.
Jetty is survived by her children; Judyth, Debra, and Gary; her sister Linda Houg: grandchildren Sean (Lori) Peterson; Erin (Tony) Solomon; and Amanda (Daniel) Conlin and six great-grandchildren.
Jetty was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; her mother, Evelyn; her brother’s Elnathan and Wayne and her son-in-law, Gerald Zweibohmer.
