Funeral services were held today, Feb. 21, for Mrs. Ella Iverson, 83, of Cresco, from the Winneshiek Funeral Chapel at 1 p.m.

Church services will be held at 2 p.m. from Orleans Lutheran Church with the Rev. Obert Hoven as the officiating minister. Burial will be in the Orleans Lutheran Cemetery.

Orville Hovey, Andrew Scott, Grant Iverson, Albert Benson, Marvin Benson and Leon Benson served as pallbearers.

Mrs. Ella Iverson, daughter of the late Ole and Christine Peterson, was born May 16, 1873, in Orleans Township and died Feb. 16 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Theodore Scott, at Ridgeway. She died suddenly as a result of a heart attack.

She was married to Edward Iverson March 30, 1898, at Cresco by the Rev. O. Otterson and they made their home in Bluffton Township.

They are the parents of four children, Mrs. Theodore (Olive) Scott, Ridgeway, Marvin Iverson, Cresco, Clarence Iverson, Clarion, Mrs. Will (Geneva) Hein, deceased. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter, Geneva.

She is survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Linda Pierce, Belgrade, Mont., Mrs. Cornelia Boynton, Ooltewah, Tenn., Mrs. Ester Monson, Decorah and Mrs. Anna Stinger, Cresco.

She was a life member of the Orleans Lutheran Ladies' Aid as well as a member of the Orleans Lutheran Church.
