AMOND VISETH
Amond Viseth, well known to people of Decorah and vicinity, died last Saturday about eleven o’clock at the home of L. N. Seim, death being due to bronchitis and heart disease Mr. Viseth came to America about forty years ago from Christiansand, Norway, and was about seventy-three years of age. He was a tailor by trade and when he arrived in Decorah entered the employ of J. H. Mackenstadt, with whom he remained until the latter retired from business. Soon after coming to America he set about helping some of his relatives to come here also, and it is said that he furnished the means of a half a dozen or more to make the journey. During the past eighteen years Mr. Viseth made his home with the Seim family, working when opportunity or his health permitted. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock at the Seim home, Rev. Mason officiating, and interment was made in the Norwegian cemetery.
