OBITUARY.
On Wednesday, Oct. 21, death claimed Victor Hickey, of Ridgeway, who for the past few months has been up and recovering from a siege of typhoid fever.
Victor was 19 years old April 18th. He was a manly young fellow and of a quiet disposition. Since graduating from the high school in 1912 he has been employed as a helper in the depot at Ridgeway and worked at various business places around town. He was a bright, honest young man, and his character beyond reproach.
Since the death of his father several years ago, he has been a comfort to his mother, Mrs. E. C. Hickey, with whom he still made his home at the hour of his untimely death.
Much has been taken from this good mother, from his lonely sisters, and the large circle of relatives and friends; sweet ties have been severed, but much is left. The Christian’s hope and fadeless memories are still theirs.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon, and interment was made in the Ridgeway cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Apr. 18, 1895 and died Oct. 22, 1914 which does not agree with the above.
