OBITUARY.
Mrs. John Rogen died at her home in Glenwood township on Thursday last, October 1st. Mrs. Rogen was born on Washington Prairie on August 5, 1862, and with the exception of six years spent in South Dakota has always lived in that community. She was married on March 18, 1886, and beside her husband is survived by two sons and two sisters, the latter being Mrs. A. Friskop and Mrs. J. P. Hager. Mrs. Rogen has been in poor health for several years, but was able to continue her household duties until about five weeks ago, when she was compelled to take to her bed. The funeral was held last Saturday afternoon at the Glenwood church, Rev. S. A. Scarvie officiating. Many friends gathered as a mark of respect to the departed, and by their presence to express sympathy for the bereaved.
