Otis Johnson Dead.
A telegram was received by Peter Johnson on Tuesday advising him that his oldest son, Otis, was ill in a Seattle hospital, suffering from a complication of diseases. Yesterday afternoon a second telegram told of his death. Further details were not supplied. Otis has been been{sic} on the Pacific coast for a number of years, making his home in Seattle and being engaged as a marine and stationary engineer. His death is a great shock to his relatives as prior to Tuefday{sic} they had no intimation of his illness.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows that Peter Johnson’s son was John Otaus who was born Nov. 9, 1873 and died in Seattle Sept. 16, 1914. He is buried in the Lutheran Decorah Cemetery
