OBITUARY.
After an illness of several weeks Mrs. Carl Larson died at a private hospital at Hudson, Wis., last Thursday morning, November 20th. Her death was due to a nervous trouble from which she has been afflicted more of less for several years. Mrs. Larson’s maiden name was Selma Erickson. She was born in Sweden on February 20, 1859, and came to America with her parents in childhood. They settled at Hastings, Minn., where she was married to Mr. Larson. They have been residents of Decorah for about thirty-five years. Beside her husband she is survived by one son, Roy Larson of Minneapolis, also by her father, Mr. L. T. Erickson, her sisters, Mrs. Charles Hanson and Mrs. Joan Helmquist, and brother, O. R. Erickson, all of Hastings, and her sister Mrs. otto Dahljelm of Decorah. The funeral was held at Hastings Sunday afternoon last and interment was made in that city. Mrs. Larson enjoyed a wide acquaintance among the people of Decorah. She was a woman of sincere Christian character who was ready and willing at all times to assist those in misfortune, and much sympathy goes out to her relatives in their bereavement.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she is buried in the Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings, MN.
