At Rest.
Roland P. Lincoln, son of Elwin and Cora Lincoln, and nephew of A. Lincoln, died Sunday, Nov. 23, at Luther hospital, St. Paul, after a lingering illness of over a year.

Dr. Woodward, the family physician, pronounced the disease pernicious anaemia. This diagnosis was corroported{sic} by two specialists, Dr. Halbert of Chicago and Dr. Hubbell of St. Paul. The latter attended him during the last few days of his life.
All that love and skill could do was done to save this young life. For over a year, he was tenderly cared for at the Lincoln home on River street, Decorah Iowa. A few weeks ago, his father and sister, thinking a change of climate might benefit him, took him to their home in South Dakota. He grew weaker so rapidly that his father started back with him, stopping at St. Paul to consult Dr. Hubbell. His friends still hoped for the best, but he was too weak to recuperate and sank peacefully to rest. As usual the disease caused great mental disturbance in its last stages
Roland P. Lincoln was born on a farm in Hesper township, Winneshiek county, Iowa, Jan. 3, 1887. This was his home until a few years ago when he followed the example of other members of his family and moved to South Dakota. He was a young man of exemplary habits and, while retiring in disposition endeared himself to his family and friends.
The remains were interred in the Burr Oak cemetery yesterday afternoon. Funeral services were held in the M. E. church at that place at two o’clock, Rev. M. Willett officiating.
