Two Estimable Bluffton Women Gone.
Mrs. James Courtney passed away at her home in Bluffton township at six o’clock Sunday morning. She has been poorly for several years. About a year ago physicians thought that the end was soon near but good care kept her until the day mentioned above. Mrs. Courtney has lived in Bluffton township for many years past. She was 74 years of age. Besides her husband she is survived by three children, Miss Katie Courtney and Michael Courtney, who reside at home and Rev. Father John Courtney of What Cheer, Iowa. In their bereavement sincere sympathy goes out to those who mourn. The fuenral{sic} was held Wednesday morning at nine o’clock from St. Bridget’s church in Bluffton, of which she was a member.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Catharine and that she was born Jan. 17, 1839 and died June 13, 1913. She is buried in the St. Bridget Cemetery.
