Death Finally Came.
Nels Jorgerson, who was stricken with apoplexy at his shop last week Tuesday, died on Saturday, May 24th, without recovering consciousness. He was born in Vestre Slidre, Valders, Norway, in 1838, and came to America in 1867. After living in Wisconsin a number of years he came to Winneshiek and engaged in shoe making. He was married twice, his first wife dying fourteen years ago. On Sept. 11, 1901, he married his present wife who, with an eleven year old daughter survives him.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name spelled Nils Jogerson. He was born April, 1838 and is buried in Lutheran Decorah Cemetery.
