OBITUARY.
Yesterday at the Washington Prairie Synod church Rev. Paul Koren officiating, occurred the funeral of Miss Sophia Haugen. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Haugen of Springfield township, and beside her parents is survived by four brothers and three sisters. Miss Haugen was born June 5 1883, and died Saturday last at 11 o’clock after an illness of five years from tuberculosis. The hand of death has been heavily laid upon the Haugen home during the past year. It was but a few months ago when Mr. Haugen’s aged mother was taken. The sympathy of many friends is extended to the bereaved ones.
