The body of J. J. Emerson was brought back from his home in Washington last Saturday. The funeral will be held in the Fremont church to-day. Mr. Emerson was a former resident of our township and had many friends here who sympathize with his aged wife and children in this bereavement.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name was Jonas Enerson. He was born in 1835 and is buried in the Fremont Cemetery.
