OBITUARY.
Anna Adelheid Schoo was born January 1, 1841, in Schoben, Hanover, Germany, and died July 10, 1911, in Canoe township, Winneshiek county, Iowa. In the year 186(?) she came with her family to this county and in the same year settled in Canoe township, where she continued to reside until her death. In 1865 she was married to John G. Schoo. Eight children were born to them, of whom three sons and two daughters died. She leaves to mourn her death her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Henry Weber, Mrs. Conrad Gremm and Mrs. Thompson, who live in Canoe township. The cause of her death was cancer. Mrs. Schoo was a good woman and a true Christian; The funeral services were held Thursday, July 13, in the German M. E. church, Rev. A. F. Damerow officiating.

Several from this community attended the funeral of Mrs. Ella Schoo on Pleasant Ridge last Thursday.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows her name as Adelaide “Ella”. She is buried in the Canoe German Methodist Cemetery.
