Death of a Youth.
On Saturday last Percy Bakke, the sixteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Bakke of Frankville township, passed away after an illness of several months from diabetes, The deceased was a promising youth and his death leaves a vacancy in the family circle that will be sorely felt. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon and was attended by a large number of friends and acquaintances who gave evidence by their presence of their sympathy for the parents.

E. Ness and family attended the funeral at J. P. Bakka’s Tuesday.

Transcriber’s Note: The last name is spelled two different ways but the gravestone shows Bakke. Find a Grave shows he was born Nov. 28, 1893 and died June 10, 1911. He is buried in Washington Prairie Lutheran Cemetery.
