Mr. and Mrs. Will Utpadel of Minnesota came Friday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Utpadel’s mother, Mrs. John Gippe.

Her many friends were shocked last Friday to learn of the death of Mrs. John Gippe She was sixty-nine years old at the time of her death. The funeral services were held in the centennial church Sunday afternoon and she was laid to rest in that cemetery. Rev. Blessin officiated.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Caroline Gipp who was born Feb. 19, 1842 and died May 1, 1911. She is buried in the Centennial Cemetery.
