Miss Adelia Rolfshus, who has been a great sufferer for some time passed away at her home west of town about 11 o’clock Wednesday night. She was operated on at the Cedar Rapids hospital for some growth behind her left ear last July, and has not been entirely well since that. The funeral services were held in the Lutheran church Saturday at two o’clock, Rev. Rasmussen officiating. The casket and pulpit were nearly covered with flowers which showed only a small part of the esteem in which Adelia was held. Her friends were numbered by her acquaintances. Those from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Arneson and daughter of Harmony, a sister, Mrs Larel from Harmony, a sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Z. Erickson of Wyoming, Iowa, a nephew, Emmett Rolfshus of Hillsboro, Wis., also Mr. Roy Ireland of Wyoming, Iowa. She leaves to mourn her loss a father and mother, three sisters and six brothers.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born in 1894 and is buried in the Hesper Lutheran Cemetery.
