Fritz Erickson, the twelve-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Erickson, who for the past two weeks has been reported very low, passed away at his home south of town Friday afternoon. Several days before his sickness he took a severe cold which terminated in pneumonia, causing his death. The little fellow was very patient all through his terrible suffering and kind hands did all they could but or{sic} no avail. He will be greatly missed in his home and among his playmates at school, as he was a very affectionate child. He leaves to mourn his loss a father, mother, one sister, six brothers and a host of little friends. Funeral was held at Hesper Monday at one o’clock and the remains were interred in the cemetery there. The sympathy of their many friends go out to them in their sad bereavement.

A twelve year old son of Andrew Erickson from near Burr Oak was buried in the Norwegian Lutheran cemetery yesterday.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Fritjof who was born April 5 1899 and died Jan. 12, 1911. He is buried in the Hesper Lutheran Cemetery.
