OBITUARY.
SVEN OTNEY
The remains of Sven Otney, a former citizen of Winneshiek county living about seven miles north of town, were brought from Minneapolis for burial on Tuesday. Mr. Otney was eighty-two years of age, and his death occurred on Tuesday of last week at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Aug. Haft. Beside Mrs. Haft he is survived by one son and one daughter, the latter being Mrs. Clark Tillinghast. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the United Lutheran church, Rev. O. E. Schmidt officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name spelled Ottney. He was born Nov. 18, 1829 and died Jan. 11, 1911. He is buried in the Lutheran Decorah Cemetery.
