Early Friday morning, O. W. Nelson, one of our old esteemed residents, suffered a stroke of paralysis and passed away Saturday evening at about six o’clock. His daughter, who is now left alone, has the sympathy of the community. We are without particulars regarding his life.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1833 and is buried in the Hesper Public Cemetery.
