THE SILENT REAPER.
HANS H. RENAAS.
Hans H. Renaas died Monday after an illness of only four days from pneumonia. He was born in Thorten, Norway, on October 7, 1863, and came to America in 1884. Since that time he has made his home largely in Decorah, being first engaged as clerk, and later devoting himself to painting and paperhanging. He was married on May 28, 1895, to Berthe Christen. Four children were born to them, all of whom with the mother survive. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the First Lutheran church, Rev. I. B. Torrison officiating.

Transcriber's Note: His gravestone in the Lutheran Decorah Cemetery shows his date of birth as Oct. 5, 1863 which does not agree with the above.
