The Baker Funeral.
The St Paul Pioneer-Press of last week Wednesday gives the following account of the funeral of Harry A. Baker son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. Baker, an old Decorian who will be well remembered by the older citizens. Harry, the deceased was born in Decorah but left when quite young. F. G. Baker and Mrs. J. H. Baker were in attendance.
The funeral of Harry A. Baker, aged 38 years, will be held from the residence of his father, F. H. Baker, 231 Arundel street, this afternoon at two o’clock, Rev. Theodore Sedgewick officiating.
Mr. Baker was born in Decorah, Iowa, but had lived in St. Paul twenty-three years. He graduated from Central high school, and later became credit man with Tibbs, Hutchins & Co., holding that position five years. He held a similar position for two years with Foley Bros. & Kelly until his health broke down. At one time Mr. Baker was president of the Credit Men’s association.
Nine years ago he married Miss Florence Sprague, who, with a two-year-old son, survive him. He is also survived by his father and mother and three sisters, the Misses Jessie M., Harriet F. and Sadie K. Baker.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Dec. 1871 and died Aug. 15, 1910. He is buried in Oakland Cemetery in St. Paul, MO.
