James E. Floody, who for the past six months has been ailing but until recently confined to his bed, died Monday morning. He was a well known citizen of this community, in late years being marshal and street commissioner in Ossian. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and daughter, a father, six brothers and one sister. The funeral took place Tuesday at the Ft.{sic} Francis de Sales church, Rev. Farley of Clermont conducting the services.
