FOUND DEAD IN BED.
Elif Peterson is Found Dean in His Bed at His Home in Ossian.
Last Friday morning Elif Peterson was found dead in his bed in his home in Ossian. He was a cream gatherer for the Silver Springs creamery and last Thursday had attended to his duties as usual and was feeling unusually well. He was seen Thursday night about ten o’clock on his way home and he stopped and talked with several friends, feeling first rate and in normal condition. His mother called him at the usual time and getting no response called him again. Again not responding she went to his room and was hor{r}ified to find him cold in death. Physicians were summoned at once but there was no chance for relief, as he had been dead for some time. He had been suffering for some time with heart trouble but it was not thought serious enough to give any cause for apprehension.

Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Jan. 28, 1868 and died July 1, 1910. He is buried in the Washington Prairie Lutheran Cemetery.
