It is with great sorrow that we learn of the death of a son of Melvin Little, one of our old Burr Oak boys now living at Rockford, Ill. The son’s name was Melvin and he was in his nineteenth year. His death was due to a complication of diseases and followed an illness of many weeks. The sympathy of many Burr Oak friends go out to the bereaved family.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Sept. 22, 1901 and died Apr. 30, 1910. He is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Rockford, IL.
