Mr. and Mrs. John Gates attended the funeral of Henry Culbert last Thursday which was held at Kendallville. The deceased was a resident of St. Paul and was brought there for burial.

Henry Culbert, who has been ill so long at the home of her{sic} son John in St. Paul died last Tuesday afternoon. The body was brought here to be buried by the side of his wife and children. He was a resident of our township for years until about two years ago when he went to St. Paul to live with his son, where he has had the best of care. He leaves an aged wife, four sons and one daughter who have the sincere sympathy of our people in this loss.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Aug. 6, 1824 and died May 10, 1910. He is buried in the Eddy Cemetery.
