Death Lays Heavy Toll During the Week, Claiming Young and Old—Three Deaths from Tuberculosis.

JOHN LOMEN
John Lomen, of the south part of Decorah township, son of Mrs. Erick Lomen, passed away Monday, the cause of death being tuberculosis. Deceased was born in this county and was about twenty-six years old, a dutiful son whose presence will be missed from the home and for whose untimely death many acquaintances will join with his mother in mourning.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Aug. 29, 1879 and died Feb. 14, 1910. He is buried in the Washington Prairie Lutheran Cemetery. His gravestone shows the name Johan.
