After an illness of several months, Nels Grinde died at his home about one mile north of town. The funeral services were held from the Norwegian Lutheran church Monday morning.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows his name spelled Grindy. His year of birth is unknown; however, it shows he died Jan. 6, 1910 and is buried in the Calmar Lutheran Cemetery.
