Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Gjevre{sic} were called on Monday morning to mourn the loss of their youngest son Leonard. The child was apparently well at breakfast, and after breakfast went out in the yard to play. A short while afterwards they found him lying prostrate on the ground, apparently dead. A hurry up summons for the doctor was sent and {portion missing} considerable work {portion missing} and showed signs of {portion missing} was just for a moment, {portion missing} returning with great severity and in two minutes the struggle was over and the child a corpse. The cause of his death was acute edema of the glottis, or a sudden swelling of the tissues about the vocal cords in the throat. The parents have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their bereavement. The funeral will be held on Wednesday with interment in the Big Canoe cemetery.
