At the age of 13 she was converted and has always been a good Christian woman and at the time of her death was a member of the M. E. church of this place. Nov. 10, 1859, she was married to Henry Bollman, who died Aug. 18, 1891. To them were born nine children, 5 sons and 4 daughters, sox of whom remain to cherish the memory of a beloved mother; Frank of Postville, Frant and Sherman of Frankville, Mrs. Harry Winters and Mrs. J. D. Mullaney of Decorah and Harry on the home farm. She was stricken with paralysis and passed away quietly Friday afternoon, being 68 years, 10 months and 4 days of age. The funeral was held at the house Sunday afternoon, and a large concourse of friends gathered to pay their last respects to one who was so well known and held in high esteem by all. The services were conducted by Rev. Van Nice of Waukon and interment was made in the Minert cemetery near Postville. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved ones.
