Death - We get the sad news that A. J. Allen, son of Friend Tristraim Allen, of Hesper, who it will be remembered enlisted in the Decorah Guard, is no more. He died of typhoid fever at Brookfield, Mo., on the 17th inst. Young Allen was a man of fine talent and high character, and his early death will carry deep sorrow to a large and respectable family and to numerous friends and acquaintances.
